"Stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott - San Diego Mission Valley for 9 days and would highly recommend to everyone! Front desk staff are so friendly and welcoming. We were greeted every time we entered the hotel and they were such a big help with an issue we encountered (not their fault) but they did everything to make it right. The hotel has an ample amount of parking and felt very safe with a gated entry/exit. I’ve seen some negative reviews on the price of parking but being from Hawai’i, that’s nothing new and almost every hotel in SD charges for parking. To add to the safety topic — you need your room key to go up or down in the elevator. I love that security measure. The rooms are very clean and up to date. Property has laundry facilities and the front desk can provide quarters ($5.00 to wash and dry). There’s a hotel bistro and bar (limited hours) that has decent food and isn’t overpriced, also a little snack shop with drinks, salads, wraps, sandwiches, some toiletries and a Starbucks machine that makes coffee, hot water and cocoa. Conveniently located off the freeway but the noise is NOT a problem, we didn’t hear anything. 10 minutes to most San Diego attractions. Also 5 minutes away from Target, lots of dining options, Mission Valley and Fashion Valley Mall. Definitely staying here again!"
