Houseboats in United States of America

"Loved staying in the aqua lodges, such a relaxing place."

"Had a very enjoyable stay at Hemingway House. The place was spotless! All staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here!"

"Unique stay on a boathouse! Clean place, plenty of room!"

"Never stayed in a houseboat before. It was a novel experience!"

"So much fun!! Excellent host! Very informative. Loved the privacy and being on the water. The bed was super comfortable and the fireplace (electric) kept us warm and cozy. It was such a unique thing to do and we will be back!"

"This is a dishonest listing. I did not end up staying here because the address was a public boat ramp and there’s no disclosure about that until you attempt to check in. "

"The place wasn’t ready when we arrived! There was no running water and the lights went out 15 minutes into our stay!!"

"Where do I need to begin? There is no houseboat go to, the address is in the middle of the ocean. Do not fall for this listing.. She also has it under 3 different names same boat."

"Started with bad communication, hard to find, dirty, cold, no electricity, battery ran out, feces and urine spewing from toilet, no showers, uncomfortable bed, etc…tired to leave on the dinghy left for me and filled with 4” water. Dangerous and unhealthy!!! Wanted to charge me $50 for water taxi???"

"Deb is awesome to work with. Houseboat location is awesome, will stay again!! "

"Great experience ! Will do it again"

"Was fantastic. Watching the sunrise was so memorable, captain ron was so friendly and stayed in communication well. will visit again. "

"Clean nice place"

"We had a great time and enjoyed staying on the houseboat! "

"This was the best ever vacation we had on the houseboat. It was new, cozy and very comfortable. The location was super quiet and very safe. The view of the harbor was magnificent and the sunset on upper deck was unbelievable . Everything was perfect. And we were greeted by the cheerful lady living next to the houseboat and showed us everything we need with the houseboat. We hooked our kayaks next to the houseboat and did kayaking on Destin harbor. At sunset, we spent it mostly on the upper deck...

"Once I got in the swing of things it was a great time, and way better than staying in a hotel."

"First time staying in a houseboat and we loved it! Very memorable experience. "

"Debbie was an amazing host. Boat was super comfortable and accommodating! We sat on the back deck and watched dolphins, fish, birds, and even a manatee greeted us at dinner time! We will be back! Thank you for a great memory! "

"The owners never replied to any of my messages and never showed up to get me checked in. I contacted Expedia, who tried to help me over chat, but they were unable to find a suitable replacement and I couldn’t leave the chat to check out pictures or the map to see what they were proposing. Eventually, they reimbursed my stay and I had to make myself other arrangements, which was difficult last minute, and way more expensive."
