The boat is amazing! The stereo did not work, we did not have a kayak or our own personal dingy. Definitely am going to stay again though.

We enjoyed the boat so very much. My boyfriend enjoyed fishing off the front of the boat, I enjoyed sunbathing from the double wide lounger on the top deck and the incredible office area allowed me to do online school work (I was studying for a final the entire week while on board). We used the provided motor boat to go into town to pick up fresh groceries to grill on the top deck each evening, to visit a local bar, and even spend a day at pier 60. This may actually have been one of our favorite vacations of all times!

Nothing on the boat worked. There was no toilet paper. The small we were to use to go to the shore was not available. The refrigerators would not stay running without the generator running. The owner was rude and foul mouthed.The only good thing was his employees. They were helpful.

My wife and i spent New Years weekend on board the Emrald Gold. The houseboat was great the bed was nice and the view was amazing. The owner was fantasic and was there in the morning to provide gas for the generator. Sitting on the deck watching the sun go down and having a couple of drinks and having dinner outside on the 2nd level was amazing. The skiff that he provides needs a little added equipment such as lights so that you can go into town at night. But over all it was clean and fun and we will be back again.

This was a truly wonderful experience. It’s a five minute walk to the beach, the bed and pillows are very comfortable and we loved staying there. Blair was very helpful and he checked on us several times. He is quite the character! The boat was anchored in the channel and we had a lot of fun going back and forth to the docks in the small little boat.

Fun, family adventure!

Location was amazing! Beautiful bay with gorgeous sunsets, breezy nights and dolphin sightings! Having use of the dinghy to go to the dock was great, and the public beach was just a five minute walk. The boat is not a luxury yacht by any means, but was comfortable and clean. The bedding and towels were premium. Be prepared it’s a combination of camping/boating so there are some factors some would consider “roughing it.” (toilet paper disposal, no housekeeping, etc) Blair, our host, spent time explaining everything we needed to know about generators, AC, inverters, etc. and answered our texts in a reasonable time frame. He was a bit laid back and didn’t seem quite prepared for our arrival. (No garbage bags, ran out of gas and water), but he remedied the situation. Overall, a fun adventure I’d definitely do again!

This property was described as a luxury houseboat. Nothing luxurious about having to put all used toilet tissue in a trash can. I specifically asked about the toilet and water situation prior to booking and was told we would have plenty of fresh water and there was a new electric toilet. The generator wires melted so we were without power the second day and the sewage smell was sickening. Was told “it is what it is” by the property owner, who was very crude and offensive. We lost three paid days but couldn’t stand it another day. We were offered a credit towards a weekend on the same boat- NEVER!!

Super great time and wonderful houseboat. Main bed was comfortable. It had an extra hide-a-bed, not so comfortable, but worked. Top deck was awesome to enjoy the views and scenery. it was super fun to use the small boat to go back and forth onto land...it was an adventure. Boat was clean and spacious. Hosts were very friendly and communicative. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

We had a great time!! Would stay there again! Blair was so accommodating! It was a great adventure can’t get those views in a hotel room! Found everything we needed for our 4 days stay.
