"Room was subpar, at best. I paid extra for a preferred double queen and got a room that looked like an after thought like it was a storage room. Huge room with nothing worthwhilenin it, poor decor, terrible beds with hard mattresses and no box springs. Also, they failed to de-feather my room so we had to wait over an hour while the non-housekeeping staff tried to figure it out at 9pm! Lame."

"The hotel was fully renovated a short time ago. It looks beautiful, but they missed some key things that are safety risks. Example: carpet tacks sticking out of the carpet near the window seats. We stayed in a King suite, but the sitting room lacked good lighting and the bathroom is very small. The mamagement is great and the front desk staff were very nice. Breakfast at the restaurant was terrible. Served cold with bad portions. The location is very convenient. 3 stars."

"From the pictures, I expected a lot better. I understand this is a “historical” hotel but the decor, especially in the room, is so outdated it gives it a creepy vibe. Seriously, my room felt haunted. What is up with those red flower curtains? I had to sleep with a light on. Other notes: -The fitness room is very dissapointing. Only one treadmill out of several machines other worked. -The staff was very pleasant to interact with. I did not try the onsite restauraunt/bar. Probably wouldn’t...

"Great location on the waterfront promenade with lovely views overlooking Elliot Bay….Ferry terminal just across the street makes island visits super easy…. Very convenient transportation connection to the airport with a light rail station a couple blocks away…. Beautiful historic architecture in Pioneer Square and great restaurants all within walking distance…. "

"This hotel was much better than what I expected. It is in a good location, accessible parking, good restaurants around and 8-10 minute walk from Pikes Market. The only “negative” thing that I could mention is that the beds are soft and too low (no boxspring) which is a bit difficult to deal with if you have chronic back condition. But the same can be great if you are traveling with young kids and you like soft beds. "
