"The Palace Hotel, although pricey, was worth it for location, breakfast that was included daily and the Patio Garden restaurant was excellent! The ferry doc and ticket booth were right across the street which made it easy to use the ferry to get around the lake. The staff was excellent and helping make dinner reservations, suggest nearby restaurants to try, book our private boat tour, and also booked a private transfer for us back to Milan. We were extremely impressed when a Maserati arrived for a private transfer. The room was awesome even though we did not have a view of the lake, that did not bother us since we were only using it to sleep. They advertise the room as having a double bed, the to our surprise. It was a king-size bed! Would definitely stay here again"

"When booking this hotel, we knew it wasn't in the city center or close to major sightseeing spots. However, upon arrival, we were still shocked by the location: it is situated in an industrial zone rather than a residential or commercial area. Aside from the poor location, everything else was fine, especially considering the affordable price we paid."

"A 5 minute walk to the lake. A convenient location with plenty of dining and sightseeing nearby. Easy access to the ferry if you want to pop over to Bellagio or any number of places (or access a private lake tour by boat). The hotel has (limited) onsite parking which was nice as I drove to Lake Como. Lobby and dining area are appear recently renovated and are welcoming. I stayed on the top floor with a room that had a lovely vaulted ceilings. Air-conditioning worked great. Access was odd as you couldn’t use the elevator to get to the suite which means stairs are a must for a flight and a half. Outside the unit was a nice communal patio (the floor below has one too). Noise carried through the door when people were using the stairs, however was quiet overall. One thing I didn’t like about the suite was the odd placement of this chair in the corner that looked broken - it may have been convertible to another bed…"
