"What a nice hotel. It appears to be brand new and well maintained. It was clean and bright and new. The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved our comfy beds and the full breakfast each morning. The hotel is in the town of Big Bear, a few blocks from the "village" area. We drove, but you could probably walk. There is a nice seating area outside with firepits. We would stay again for sure."

A short drive (not walking distance)from the village or grocery. No onsite staff- just online registration and text messages with someone working remotely- so no recommendations for where to eat, get coffee etc. Overall good value."

"They upgraded us to one of the nicer sweets that had a full kitchen, a living room, a dining room, and a bed with a separate bathroom, all for well under $200 a night. You can use the amenities at both of their properties, they have a heated pool at one of them. "We had a peaceful, wonderful stay at the Estate House at Knickerbocker Mansion. The property was beautiful and well maintained, and Patrick was responsive, friendly and helpful, especially when we had trouble connecting the TV and needed help with luggage. The bed was comfortable, the wood accents were stunning, and the location was conveniently close to the village. "We have stayed here several times and we always enjoy the stay! The hotel is conveniently located in the village. The rooms are clean and the little patio sets outside of our door are great! The only downside is the main patio area hasn't been in use last few times we have stayed."

"My room door could be opened easily with a credit card or butter knife . I asked the front desk for another room they said there were no more available until I showed him video proof.
