"We had a peaceful, wonderful stay at the Estate House at Knickerbocker Mansion. The property was beautiful and well maintained, and Patrick was responsive, friendly and helpful, especially when we had trouble connecting the TV and needed help with luggage. The bed was comfortable, the wood accents were stunning, and the location was conveniently close to the village. "We have stayed here several times and we always enjoy the stay! The hotel is conveniently located in the village. The rooms are clean and the little patio sets outside of our door are great! The only downside is the main patio area hasn't been in use last few times we have stayed."

"Very clean & quiet. Nice, basic, no frills. Older and a little worn, firm mattress in the King cabin. Nice to have a dedicated parking space. A short drive (not walking distance)from the village or grocery. No onsite staff- just online registration and text messages with someone working remotely- so no recommendations for where to eat, get coffee etc. Overall good value."

"What a nice hotel. It appears to be brand new and well maintained. It was clean and bright and new. The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved our comfy beds and the full breakfast each morning. The hotel is in the town of Big Bear, a few blocks from the "village" area. We drove, but you could probably walk. There is a nice seating area outside with firepits. We would stay again for sure."

"My room door could be opened easily with a credit card or butter knife . I asked the front desk for another room they said there were no more available until I showed him video proof. Then in the middle of the night they tried to take 1,000$ out of my account. My bank stopped the transaction and shut my debit card off . I had to use my credit card for the remainder of my stay.
