"Room was very clean and spacious. Resort was remote and super quiet. Had entire beach to ourselves most of the stay. Saw bald eagles, ospreys , herons, and turtles right at the beach out front. Dirt road in was a little rough but you just had to drive slow Traffic on millennium freeway and leeward highway were brutal at rush hour in the am and pm so if you plan boat dives early stay in middle of island"

"I was expecting at least 3 days supply of towels for a weeks stay. However they brought more on the 4th day. Limited kitchen dishes and pots however enough to make it through. DONT follow the Expedia GPS directions, lost for 2 hours. Property manager had to come get us. When we arrived the GPS said we still had more distance to go. Overall a good stay, would probably stay there again for the price. Outdoor amenities are awesome. "

"I stayed at Sands in 2018 and went back with my sister November 2025. Everything was exactly as I remembered it!!! The best thing about the Sands is the staff. "There are no words sufficient enough to describe how incredible our stay was here, mostly because of the manager Clayton. He was so warm and welcoming and was always available to us if/when we needed something. Our rooms were gorgeous with everything you could possibly need.
