"For the price it’s grate. It’s about 30 min away from the marine base, it is an hour away from ILH, and everything is in basically Wilmington. Jacksonville has some places but it doesn’t have nearly as much at Wilmington. The room was pretty clean. No bugs or weird stuff. So, I would say that the hotel was pretty nice. Thor coffee is good too. I’m a sucker for hotel coffee."

"Breakfast was surprisingly really good. There was a delay in check in process as our key wasn’t keyed correctly and then we were provided keys to a room with a family it in. Staff were kind and quick to resolve."

"Just got back yesterday from our stay at the Clarion Hotel, the hotel lobby is very beautiful, the marble floors are state-of-the-art, it appears that a lot of thought was put into the design of the lobby.The hotel staff was very friendly. When pulling up to the hotel, it was aesthetically very pleasing. The Challenges: The property is outdated, which could be overlooked if the maintenance and stocking were proactive, but unfortunately, they weren't. "There is a certain basic expectation from budget Hotels but then there is below expectations… First room I got placed into looked like the party room several broken and missing features like someone had partied hard previously in it. I did bring it to the attention of the front desk and they did move me to a different room. Also not the best area there was a-lot of shady happenings going on in the parking lot even during the day."
