" We had an incredible stay at Umoya Lodge in Pilanesberg and couldn’t recommend it more. The game drives were absolutely amazing, made even more special by our ranger, Rassie, who was knowledgeable, passionate, and a joy to spend time with. We saw so much wildlife and every drive felt like a true safari adventure. The food was excellent throughout our stay, and the lodge itself is beautiful. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for relaxing after a day out...

"Unbeschreiblich toll! Hier wurde und wird wirklich an das kleinste Detail gedacht, von der Einrichtung, über den Service bis hin zum Essen. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt hier mit einzigartigen Game Drives. Das gesamte Team ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, sodass man sich von der ersten Sekunde an wohl fühlt. Ich hoffe sehr, dass wir es irgendwann schaffen wieder zu kommen :)"

"The room was clean, the bed comfy.The room was not expensive. The staff did not seem friendly and the service was grudging. This is apart from the manager who was very friendly. The food at the bar was average, the chips were cold and hard. It is not possible to sit out by the pool as we hoped as the metal lounge chairs were old and covered in dirt and leaves. The few cushions were dirty and damp."

"Food isn't good, very high in fat, carbs and sugar. No healthy options asides from salad which it doesn't really count. They have a ton of staff but they aren't customer service focus more like out to lunch. Nobody greets you or even look at you, they avoid eye contact. Definitely didn't feel welcome. Hotel itself it's fine and basi amenities need improvement and easier access to use them. The safari drives are chaotic needs more planning and organization. "

"Mbazo lodge is truly a special place. You are looked after like a king. True six star service. The food and drink was incredible. The chef so talented. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The drives were amazing and the guides so knowledgeable. Thirty elephants came and drank from the pool while I was eating lunch my first day. A wonderful place. "
