Gun Hill is a hilltop and lookout deck that commands unparalleled views over Mussoorie, the Doon Valley and the Garhwal Himalayas. Gun Hill sits at a height of 6,640 feet (2,020 meters) and is the second-highest point in Mussoorie. Reach the viewpoint by riding on the cable car, which travels up for about 1,300 feet (400 meters) from The Mall. The hilltop is above Mussoorie’s town center. Combine your visit with a stroll on The Mall, a lively commercial promenade. Alternatively, hike or ride on horseback along Camel’s Back Road, a scenic trail named after a rocky formation that resembles a camel. Gun Hill is accessible daily. The cable car runs every day.
