"Everything was wonderful at this location; however, we were put in a smoking room and my husband is allergic to smoke. Thankfully it wasn’t bad smelling like some we have been in. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we’re traveling in the area"

"Staying at the Royal Rest was like a trip back in time, and we loved it! We drove straight up to our door to unload. Our room was modest, but spot clean and quiet. The beds and pillows were perfect, water was hot and AC was cold. Loved how guests sat out in front of their rooms and actually visited with one another - a lost art! We will stay here again!"

"The staff was so nice and the patio and game room were awesome. Breakfast was good too. The only problem was a pretty strong smoke smell in the room, but that’s understandable since it used to be a Super 8. Great little hotel in a nice small town!"
