Hotel Independent di Charles Town

"It’s a great hotel. However, they don’t have non-Tesla EV chargers, nor adapters for other cars. That’s already odd, given this is a fancy hotel next to DC. But it’s even odder that they don’t tell you that there’s a (paid) EV charger in the parking lot of the Town Hall, *literally* next door to the hotel’s main entrance (a 10m walk). So when we got there with our car’s battery almost drained, we had a mini freakout until we figured out on our own how to get the car charged. Not a dealbreaker,...

"The entire property was beautiful and elegant -- from the lobby to the dining to the guest room. The staff was very attentive and kind. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely appointed with nice toiletries, bottled water, thick towels, and comfortable bedding. My only ask would be to include a robe. "

"Wonderful stay at Light Horse Inn. Best bed and breakfast I have experienced. Clean, comfortable room. Inn is decorated in period pieces-perfect. Amazing breakfast! Within walking distance to Harper’s Ferry. Bonus is restaurant Snallygaster’s next door and The Barn behind the Inn for cocktails and live music! Definitely recommend. Will be staying here next time we pass through. "
