"Upon arrival we waited over 5 minutes just to see someone to check us in. There was not even an employee in the building! I called the hotel as I stood in the lobby and the phone rang and rang. Finally an employee came in. She had been outside getting fresh air because the ac was not working in the lobby. "The front desk staff were really nice. I appreciated the warm welcome and smiles. The parking attendant was very helpful. The room was fairly clean. The conditioner was completely out in the shower. The ac didn’t seem to cool off to the temp we wanted. When I went down to the front around 9 pm after a long day at the hospital I was alarmed to hear that another customer had bed bugs in the room. "The property was pretty secured and clean. I like that cameras were all over in the common areas, and the property was well lit. All staff members were courteous…front desk clerks, food service staff, and housekeeping staff. This may have been the best Home2 we stayed at."

"The property was clean and the staff was friendly. The only thing I would mention is that this property sits in an area of Charleston that is under rejuvenation. While safe, the cost is not reflective of where the property lies. As a result, I found it to be overpriced."

"The hotel is in a convenient location, easy to get in and out. The breakfast was average for a hotel that price and we ate there the four mornings, the pool looked nice, even though we didn’t use it. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. We had a couple of requests and they fulfilled them in no time. It was a short family vacation and we would consider staying there again."

"We have been staying here for many years. It’s comfortable and convenient but is beginning to look and feel “used”. There was some mold in the bathroom, we had no hot water for showering our last morning ….. the front desk said that they would notify maintenance about the water but we were on our way so don’t know if issue got corrected promptly or not. Breakfast is good, fair selection and atmosphere friendly."

"I was placed in a room adjacent to the ice machine and elevator, even though the hotel was barely occupied. The breakfast was on par with a gas station. I travel frequently for business, and the Hilton name is no longer a mark of quality or comfort. Hilton is the Taco Bell of hotels."

"Keurig and tv were broken in our first room. Staff was extremely unhelpful and verged on rude. Asked 3x for tv to get fixed and finally after day 2 they moved us to a different room where the keurig was still broken lol overall comfortable, not the cleanest or best maintained. Breakfast was not great. But had the basics and a good sized refrigerator in the room. Great location."
