"Excellent hotel rooms are incredible. The gym is shared with non hotel guests though which maybe I didn’t read far enough to know that. It is a members gym so it’s packed and not exclusive to hotel guests. Photo shows a sauna outside however it seems like maybe it’s “seasonal” sometimes. Also bar closes super early around 10-10:15 so if you’re looking for a late night drink there’s no options here. Staff was excellent across the board"

"Motto Chelsea has wonderful staff that were very professional and helpful during our entire stay. The hotel is well situated between the Financial District (WTC) area and Central Park. There is a nice restaurant on site. The bed was super comfortable and the shower excellent. We felt safe walking in the neighbourhood."

I chose to stay because the staff was genuinely kind, accommodating, and professional throughout my visit. Their customer service is the main reason I gave the hotel another chance. "The hotel is so charming, staff and are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location is superb in the heart of Greenwich Village with everything in walking distance and an adorable neighborhood to stay in. The rooms had such character. The breakfast included was delicious. Staff were excellent - I had a doublebed in the room booked and when they saw I was pregnant they upgraded me to a queen proactively and provided me with extra pillows.
