"Very comfortable and well kept room. Ample size, quiet and with everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant each of our three evenings and everything was well prepared, very tasty and LARGE! Service was very good and always with a smile. We both loved the continental style breakfast too. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. "The staff were faultless, and paid much attention to my border collie (not surprising: that always happens.) The room was too hot and there were a lot of strange stains on the walls. Very weird. The rooms were good otherwise. Bathroom very stylish and functional. Bed= comfortable. Good thread count on the linen. Biscuits good. Coffee undrinksble. I’d stay again, but I’d bring my aeropress. And I’d try not to look at the walls. "

"A very charming and remodelled village hotel with an excellent restaurant - locals and travelers alike are welcome. Chef creates new dishes depending the daily food availability - mostly local - organic and fresh. Room was very nice, clean and had a new wonderful bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast made to order plus smaller buffet for yoghurt, juices, cereals. We would come back anytime."

"A lovely winter break in a perfect location. Staff went above and beyond to accomodate our requests during our stay, an extended family get together for a special birthday (8 people). We had four rooms for our family, good sized family room with double, single and sofa bed with nice sea peek; a twin with sea views; and two doubles, one sea view side. The hotel is a brick historic Victorian country house hotel set in a great elevated position in West Lulworth, a short stroll up from the cove....
