"I would prefer it hotter but it was warm enough. Food was delicious, very good quality, staff extremely helpful and friendly, spa is beautiful with wide range of facilities. "

"The swimming pool is out of order at the moment. was not notified of this when booking only a couple of days before I arrived.
I was allocated room 56. Make sure you don’t get this room unless there is a heatwave. It was so cold that I had to ask to be moved during the night. The radiator does not appear to work in the room.
I stayed for 3 nights, two of which had road closures outside the hotel . On the Sunday the road was closed from 7 am to 1 pm so could not leave unless you walked - and...

"Breakfast was excellent.
The room was spacious and nicely decorated, but needs some updating. Thete was plenty of space for more drawers for clothes, a table/ rack for a suitcase , and a small table between the chairs would have been useful.
The pool and spa area was excellent.
The gardens are lovely.
The restaurant was heavily influenced by spice - too much for older taste buds, but the chef was accommodating! "

"Only stayed night so did not manage to get in to the gym or pool. Room was nice and clean, although a little noisy at times from other guests passing the room. Easy to get too and close enough to Chester"
