"The swimming pool is out of order at the moment. was not notified of this when booking only a couple of days before I arrived. I was allocated room 56. Make sure you don’t get this room unless there is a heatwave. It was so cold that I had to ask to be moved during the night. The radiator does not appear to work in the room. "Nice place but the “deluxe” room was dated, no fridge and the window seal was broken so cold air blowing in badly and practically zero sound reduction meant listening to everyone’s conversations walking past outside. Only one light fixture working in the room. Extractor in the bathroom was pretty useless, rendering the mirror useless even 30 mins later. Toilet flush made more noise than a tractor starting. "Breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, but needs some updating. Thete was plenty of space for more drawers for clothes, a table/ rack for a suitcase , and a small table between the chairs would have been useful. The pool and spa area was excellent. The gardens are lovely. The restaurant was heavily influenced by spice - too much for older taste buds, but the chef was accommodating! "
