Location was great, close to a lot and felt tucked away. Very charming. The staff here is so friendly and welcoming. Really felt like coming home every night after exploring. Highly recommend a stay here.

This hotel was such a lucky find. The room was well kept and nicely decorated with a cozy feel. Though the mattress was very firm, the pillows and linens were nice and the room cleaned up daily. The made-to-order breakfast that was included was perfect for our stay- my teens loved their eggs and bacon, and the fresh juice, iced mochas and sticky rice they provided daily. They had filtered water available in addition to the bottles they refilled in our rooms daily. On new years eve, they had such a fun celebration, with all kinds of yummy food and free drinks, as well as gift giveaways. The staff was so friendly and helpful and they generously have us parting gifts when we left. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place in Chiang Mai. We were close enough to walk to the night bazaar and plenty of restaurants, but not so close that it was loud outside of the hotel. 5 stars!!

A very special antique and wooden boutique hotel with beautiful and quiet environment. Staffs were friendly and helpful with lots of smiles. We enjoyed the breakfast time there too. Many choices of food with unlimited supply.

Rooms are beautiful and quite charming. Everything very clean and staff is quite helpful. The breakfast menu choices with both Western style food and Thai food dishes was very nice. Excellent sticky rice with mango. The Americano coffees, cappuccinos and lattes were excellent. Lovely place to stay. You are greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. Just a few steps from a Wot which is lovely to visit.

It’s a clean, enjoyable stay close to the lively night time markets in Chiang Mai. The decor for the rooms are based in traditional Thai style which elevates the experience. Rooms are clean and service from the staff is good. They speak clear English and I enjoyed my stay here

Very relaxing and comfortable

The retreat was an excellent place to stay. The staff was incredible, the grounds were gorgeous and the room was quite nice. It was a little farther walk then I expected (doable, but took 10-15 minutes to get anywhere) but that is my only slight complaint. And there were always taxis available on the street, so it really was not a problem.

Great Hotel

The property is a historic old building in the older section of town which allows you to walk to many attractions. Room was really comfortable and the property was restored keeping the original structure while also ensuring that everything on site is up to a world class standard. We would not hesitate to book at the property again.

I love this hotel. Superb friendly staffs who dealt with my endless questions. Great locality minutes walk to night bazaar and lots and lots of massage. Great breakfast and cheap meal at the hotel if u r too tir3d of walking as well. Has a clean pool tho we did t get to use it, personally due to all the talk abt virus in asia during the time of our stay. Love the cozy patio to sip our tea outside the room as well.Only let down was the ac was super loud on the last night but we didnt have a chance to inform the hotel.

I loved my stay here so so much. The staff was so amazing and kind and everything was very clean. The setting was beautiful and felt like paradise. The breakfast was super delicious and I was so excited to eat it every morning. The location was perfect and we walked to Old City every day from the hotel. My boyfriend and I both talked about how we would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you so much to everyone at Amata Lanna!!!

Loved this place! Wonderful staff- so friendly, attentive, and genuine. Beautiful room and property. Great breakfast, nice pool (though a little too cold in December to swim!) Nice location away from the busy traffic of Old Quarter, but a nice walking distance from the action, and a short walk to the night market.
