Beautifully designed, comfortable, noisy street.

I really like the design of this hostel. The room was spacious, the bed was soft, and there were a few English stations. The bathroom was also spacious and the water was pretty hot. The location was about a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants and Central mall. The breakfast was simple, but good. Good coffee. The atmosphere was modern but comfortable. The only downside was the noise from the street. I can usually sleep through noise, but it was jolted out of sleep by the motorcycles that zoomed by at night and early in the morning. Perhaps if I had a room on the back it wouldn’t have been a problem. That is the only reason why I don’t plan to stay there again. Everything else lovely, comfortable, and convenient. Service was good and the Internet worked well. Helpful and kind owners!

Last minute canceled from the hotel

I was looking forward to stay at the hotel since I read all of the positive feedback in many website. However, when I arrived to Chiangmai Airport and grab a cab to the hotel. I hadn’t noticed any messsage on my phone due to I set sound off. Both of hotel staff and expidia staff tried to reach me on as they canceled my booking on the same day of my arrival. I was informed about the situation once I arrived to the hotel. Hotel staff informed me that the hotel was overbooked and had to relocate me to another hotel nearby. FYI, I booked the hotel more than 3 months in advance but they still decided to cancel my booking with them. And what worst is that, it was so urgent which caught me off guard that I had to go along since I didn’t have much choice. The hotel they moved me to was nice but they room that I assigned to had no in-room shower and toilet facility. I was super disapointed by their decision. I trusted their reputation that I also do have more booking with them in the future. But now I’m thinking of cancel the booking because i am afriad that they will do the same to me. Please be careful when you book for this hotel, especially during high season. You may experience the same thing as me. Also, Expedia need to revise regulation for last minute cancel with partners. Since Expedia has strict regulations with customer in the same aspect but not with your partners. It really reflects how much you care about your customer.

Great hotel with amazing decor

We loved staying at Fashen Poshtel. The owners were very helpful and the hotel was just great. Breakfast made to order every morning, choice of Continental or Asian. Good strong coffee to start the day, bars and restaurants all close by and massage a couple of minutes away.

Hotel au calme un peu en retrait du centre

Chambres design, légèrement en retrait du centre mais quartier sympa . Bon petit déjeuner inclus. En conclusion bien mais un peu cher pour la Thaïlande.

Bed and breakfast in great location

We immediately felt at home and comfortable here. Very new and clean and the interior design style is artsy and chic. The couple who owns are friendly, welcoming, suggestive, and helpful. Breakfast was always good, coming with coffee or tea, fresh croissant, yogurt with fruit, and orange juice. Our room was quiet and roomy bathroom and hot shower. Highly recommend! Close to good cafe and vegetarian food. Just outside square so not too busy, but still close enough to get everywhere quickly. Would definitely stay here again!

Stunning

This place is a hidden gem!! About 10-15 minutes from the center by car, this hotel is situated in a lovely quite area that has the feel of a small village. It's perfect if you want to eat some actual local street food and there are some great little bars nearby. I arrived quite late in the evening having already emailed to let them know. I was greeted at the door by a lovely guy who was very welcoming without being over the top. He checked me in with zero hassle and took me to my room. It was stunning! It was huge, clean and airy. The decor was minimalist and absolutely beautiful. Everything looked brand new as it it had never been touched. The shower and bathroom facilities were impeccable and so so clean! The bed was fantastic, huge, soft and comfortable. I slept amazingly well! When I went downstairs in the morning I was greeted by the staff and offered a lovely breakfast and a coffee which I had whilst sitting in what looked like a beautiful cafe! They really have made so much effort with the decor in this place and it really is incredible. When the time came for me to leave, they helped me arrange a taxi and waved me off like old friends! I have not one negative thing to say about this place and I truly hope I get to visit again one day!

Great choice

Good location....lots of eating and near shopping places ...great service.....very good ambience....The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful....overall a very good place to stay....will come back if in Chiang Mai again
