River Hotel

"The front desk staff was wonderful and even upgraded my room so I could check in early when I was just expecting to store my bag. I had a wonderful view! The room is cozy and bathroom has good water pressure and fluffy towels. The elevators are quick and quiet. There is a refillable water bottle station by the elevator that I had never seen any where else. The coffee maker in the lounge was out of order when I was there. The Nespresso maker in my room wasn't working right either but with enough pushing and adjusting I was able to get it to function There is no restaurant or bar in the building but there is one on either side and probably a dozen options within two blocks. The location is great- close to Michigan Avenue, the River Walk and Millennium Park. This was my second stay and won't be my last."

"This was my first visit with Hyatt and the stay was wonderful. Facility was clean, staff were accommodating and friendly. Customer service was 10/10. Breakfast was ok, a little pricey but ok for the most part. I cant wait to return ."

"Everything was great the only complaint I have is that the coffee machine was broken so I had to go to the restaurant on the front , they had coffee but not coffee cups to go so I grabbed a to go cup from hotel bring it to the restaurant they give me a very cold coffee , when I told the server that my coffee was cold he said oh I’m sorry , it’s $7 …… so he charge me for a very bad coffee even though I brought a cup and told him the coffee was cold"

"Great place to stay, it's in a quiet, safe area, staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, building and room was very clean, good breakfast selection, good parking rates. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back."

"The convenience factor was most important to us which was perfect. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and neat. Restaurant on site off the lobby. If I could change one thing… Large, heavy roller bags do not operate easily on the thick carpet to the elevators."
