"Good parking space, breakfast was good, the facilities were clean"

"Breakfast was excellent, staff helpful and friendly. The superior double room was much nicer than the standard double and worth paying the small extra amount for. We had our 2 dogs and hotel is very dog friendly although the £25 per dog per night was a bit steep. Hotel is well located right in the middle of Penkridge, Saturday market is brilliant. We would return."

"We use this hotel around once a year with our children. Always a great stay. Nice and quiet as separate from the pub, great parking. Clean and tidy, and good sized rooms. Lovely park in the beer garden. Great to have pub restaurant next door for evening meal and breakfast if required."

"The room was very clean and even had an iron in the room how ever on check out my son forgot his ipad and when we drove back 30 mins after they had cleaned the room and the housekeeper stole my sons ipad the receptionist working on the morning on sunday the 24th said she would ask house keeping and call us back never did we went back on monday tje boy at reception said he will also ask housekeeping and call us back but nothing today is friday the 29th and still nothing nice hotel but the staff are dishonest theifs well not be returning"

"The hotel itself looked quite rundown from the front and in the lobby. The room was clean but side.lights didn't work next to the bed and the shower head was broken too. Found the hotel quite noisy as no soundproofing so could hear people going in and out of rooms and talking in the halls. Bed was comfy though!"
