Top Chipping Norton Hotel Reviews

easyhotel Oxford
6/10 Okay
"Location was convenient, good transport links into the centre of Oxford and hotel was cheaper in cost than the more centrally located ones.
Room was compact, okay for a few nights but may have been more of an issue if staying for longer. No chair or table, no tea/coffee making facilities. The only bin was located in shower room.
Bed was comfortable but the room was far too hot even with the air con on. Window didn't open and air con too far away from the bed to make it effective. Made for an uncomfortable couple of nights sleep unfortunately.
Shower room was perfectly functional if quite small. A separate hand towel or hair towel would have been appreciated.
Overall it was a cheap hotel that was quite good value for money, just a few tweaks and it could have been excellent.

Escapade Silverstone
10/10 Excellent
"My stay at Escapade Silverstone exceeded my initial expectation from start to finish.
The setting stands out straight away. You get direct views over the circuit, which creates a unique atmosphere whether you follow motorsport or not. The design is very modern, high-tech, clean, and well thought through. Every space has a purpose.
The accommodation delivers on comfort and detail, I’d recommend bringing a HDMI cable for streaming services from a tablet or laptop. Rooms feel spacious, quiet, and well equipped. The finishes are high quality. Everything works as it should, which matters more than anything.
Service is a strong point. Staff were attentive without being overbearing. Requests are handled quickly. You feel looked after without any friction.
Food and drink options are solid. The breakfast buffet menu is varied and well executed.
Location is a major advantage. You are right at Silverstone, yet it still feels like a calm and private retreat.
This is a place that gets the fundamentals right and then builds on them. Strong design, reliable service, and a clear identity. It is easy to recommend and easy to return to."

Hampton by Hilton Oxford
8/10 Good
"Room was average. Clean. Shower was a good size.
Could have done with a few hooks both in bathroom and room.
However bed was so high, had to climb to get on to it. And pillows very thick. Just about managed two nights. Could not have handled a third night sleeping on them.
Breakfast was ok, not great but filled a whole.
Front of desk staff very knowledgeable and gave us good direction for places to eat out of the centre of Oxford.
The maps they had for park and ride etc were handy.
Average stay."

Queens Hotel Cheltenham
6/10 Okay
"While the room was large and bedding was good, the room was too warm. The heat is centrally controlled. The air conditioner could not adequately compensate. The place is old and as such floors slant and can be disorienting. Dinner menu was acceptable but not spectacular for the ambiance of the hotel. "

Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel & Spa
2/10 Terrible
"Compared to the website the property is very dated.
Air-conditioning was not working in our rooms.
Breakfast wasn't great."
