"The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, food was good, and location was convenient. Our only complaint was that although it was advertised as air conditioned, it wasn't working and we were traveling during the heat wave."

I requested a room on one of the lower floors, and it was changed with easy and no problems. Returned at 11.30pm, after a concert, and the bar was still open, full range of drinks. "This was our second time in the hotel. We asked for the same room (in advance) and we got it . I wish there was air conditioning in the rooms. I love the little tea room with daily cake! It makes me feel like on a skiing holiday in a chalet"

"A good looking Hotel from the outside, the food in the restaurant smelled great as you climb the steps to the door. (There is a disabled lift around the side somewhere) Self check in with help available, parking fee arranged at this point, I had missed this on the website, it was £7.50 a night, not over the top but a surprise for me. Room is a bit dated, only two sockets on the desk and no USB sockets anywhere. Comfy bed, plenty of space in the room and good shower pressure! Now the...

"Room was very clean and comfortable, thanks for putting in the fan. receptionist was very welcoming and efficient and a lot of fun, so the stay started well. Did not use the facilities so cant comment. Overall very happy and would recommend."

"There is absolutely NO wifi and NO cell service in these rooms. The only place we could get a singular bar was in the corner of the bathroom. This massively hurt me when checking in/getting updates about my flight. The front desk just shrugged when I told them. No help at all. The toilet seat was also broken and nearly falling right off. The only benefit was it was a good sized room. Wouldn’t stay here again, though."
