"Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Really got nothing to complain about. The area was bustling with new amenities, quieter from the bund area. Even though travelling around will take some time but its ok for a relaxing stay."

"Guests smoke inside the hotel. Ventilation system isn't the greatest. I smell smoke in the room and the hallway."

"Beautiful hotel with amazing views and a 59 story hot tub/pool. Great selection of restaurants and in a nice area."

"La atención de los empleado muy buena gracpor todos me gustó sacaban las basura diaria gracias"

"I came to Shanghai wanting to see real Chinese history, and the host recommended the East Wing of the Shanghai Museum, easy to reach by metro. The bronze gallery stunned me: three-thousand-year-old pieces so well preserved, and I stayed there a whole day. Back at the apartment, the room was clean, the bed comfortable. Dining in Xujiahui is convenient. The host speaks very good English, replies fast, and the museum recommendation proved right."

"Our stay at the Thompson Shanghai was generally very comfortable. The room was spacious, modern, and the beds were very comfortable. However, considering the relatively high room rate, we were quite disappointed that breakfast was not included. At this price level, we expected breakfast to be part of the stay, so this was the main downside for us."

"I was looking for a hotel that helped me reduce costs, and came across this gem. The quality of the service, and the vibes of the room are amazing considering how affordable my stay was. The main area is a perfect to chill and/or work at any time of the day. Loved running around the area and all the way through The Bund"

"The property was excellent. Large space and pretty much with what you expect living in an apartment plus the room service. However commuting from here is a bit difficult. Our relatives tried to drive us in the hotel, but we couldn't find the entrance (the relatives are locals). Without a car or using ride sharing it maybe a bit difficult to commute from the hotel. However it was a nice stay regardless. The 4 stars come from mostly the poor quality of the breakfast and the little inconvenience of...

"The hotel was very clean, and the gym was excellent. The staff at the hotel entrance were especially helpful and provided great service. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to the metro, making it simple to get to Disney. The only issue that affected our stay was the shower water pressure, which was quite low and the water flow was very weak. Other than that, we had a very good experience."

"Club lounge was very pleasant and offered excellent food choices. Will definitely stay there again on future visits to Shanghai."

"The rooms were clean when we arrived and I appreciate our staff who cleans and organize the room everyday. The only concern I had was people smoking in their room with the doors open and that spread through the floor"

"Had a great stay! New hotel excellent service all round. Near to the new Shanghai Grand Opera House. Gigisel, the young lady at reception is very helpful and professional."

"Clean and big rooms. Everything worked well. Good value"

"Me gustó. Solo esta muy lejos de todo"

"Our family stayed in this two-bedroom apartment in Xujiahui and appreciated being close to both modern conveniences and historic landmarks. We visited Xujiahui Cathedral and the Zikawei Library, where the architecture and public spaces reflect the district’s long history of cultural exchange. The apartment was bright, clean and suitable for a family, with separate bedrooms, a useful kitchen, a refrigerator, a washing machine and drying facilities. The bathroom was well maintained and daily...

"位置比较方便，设施比较老旧"

"Convenient location"

"They don’t clean the room if you stay more than one day and their pluming system seems too old with bad odor."
