"We were visiting MSU for a college tour of the south and reserved a room for 1 night while we were in town. The staff at the front desk were very friendly & quick with getting us checked in and to our room. We had room 324 which faces the corner traffic intersection. It is a major intersection in town, and was mostly quiet throughout the night (Monday night) but occasionally there was a truck or loud car that would wake me up. I recommend trying to get a room on the opposite side of the hall. If you use the Hilton app, you can choose your room.
We didn't use the gym or pool since we were only there for a quick trip, but the gym looked like it had a good assortment of equipment and the pool looked clean at first glance.
The breakfast was decent. Not the best Ive had, but for a quick stay it satisfied my morning hunger. The eggs are clearly powdered eggs, and the bacon was very crispy, but they have lots of other options, so you should be able to find something you like.
The room appeared to have been recently remodeled. The furniture appeared to be newer and the carpet was clean, no stains. The bathroom was clean. No sign of mold. The tub however did not drain well. It would get backed up and I was standing in a pool of soapy water. A little gross, but also dangerous. I had to catch myself a couple times from slipping. That would really be my only complaint of the stay."
