"We booked a stay well in advance, but had to cancel due to a family emergency. We tried to cancel more than a week ahead of our reservation, but Expedia said that the Olympic Village Inn refused to refund our fee. We still plan to visit and stay in Tahoe for a few days, but won't be going back to that place."

"The stove elements were all rusty and old they should have been replaced. One morning we woke up and there was no hot water. The outside window the lock was broke. Location was great. I didn’t expected pay $10 a day for parking. I thought it was included. sometimes during the night, it was very noisy in the hallways. The pool was closed for two days because of algae."

"The location was perfect! And check in and check out were great! The unit was outdated. The furniture was very broken down and uncomfortable. WiFi did not work unless you stood on the balcony. It did what it needed to do. It gave us a place to sleep, shower and change. Would we stay there again - probably not. Did we gate our time there absolutely not!"

"This is my 2nd time staying here. I wished I would have stayed longer than the two nights I planned out. I forgot how relaxing and calm it is here. I would love to come back and stay two weeks or more! It was my husband’s first time and he absolutely loved it!! There is a sand dune that you have to climb down on way to beach and then back up it to get to the boardwalk path back to the resort. It was not there the 1st time I stayed.
