I had both the continental and cooked breakfast during my stay. Both were good, cooked breakfast was fresh and well cooked. Had dinner there one night, options were good and served promptly. I have used the restaurant before but this was my first stay. Room was clean, comfortable bed. Very warm in the room, a fan was available but not very effective. Shower was good. Overall I was comfortable, had a pleasant stay. The accommodation could use some updating.

Room very cold, loads of cobwebs in bathroom, shower had no pressure, water trickled out, overall needs maintenance, windows single glazed, full of condensation, traffic noise and pub noise was very loud.

The rooms are set away from the bar in a separate building and are very quiet! looks like an old building but inside is modern. Our room had its own modern bathroom and was very comfortable. Car parking was plentiful and never struggled with parking. We were meeting friends in Chorley so never got to try the bar meals but rooms I can recommend 100%. Next visit we will be booking the same rooms.

One night bed & breakast

Breakfast was great. I stayed in a double room myself, due to the temple accommodation full. The staff were friendly. The bedroom was very nice and clean.

Entrance outside the accommodation, bin over flowing with rubbish, loads of butt end cigarettes on the floor. This was from Thursday to my leaving on Saturday. Shower in room 9 full of mold, showered else where. The breakfast staff are fantastic and also the quality of the food, my only suggestion is, give a good quality egg. This was the only let down on your fantastic breakfast.

Never stayed here before, room was quite small an dark as you looked out window all could see was over grown tree & ivy, lots of bugs in room was a ants nest in one corner so was all up the wall was scared to sleep. Don’t think I’d return.

Sound rooms with great pub.

Great room & quite cool regarding the hot weather. Nice hot shower, comfortable bed with nice breakfast to start the day. Stayed before twice & will be back when in area.

Tired and needs a refresh

Situated on a busy road close to the hospital, this is not a quiet place at all. Greene King have done their best as the room I stayed in was triple glazed. Without AC or being able to open a window, my room was very warm although an electric fan was provided. The room was shabby and needs a refresh tbh. The shower water pressure was terrible, almost unusable. Car parking is good and plentiful

Happy with our stay, great breakfast!

Accommodation is in the building aside the restaurant/pub, so no issue with noise. Though definitely heard the neighbours checking out very early. Parking limited outside the house but you can park in the main car park no issue. Breakfast was great, select from the cooked menu, and cereals, yogurt, pastries etc also available to help yourself. Only aspect that let it down was the condition of the ensuite bathroom. High ceilings mean cobwebs and damp is hard to fix/maintain, also shampoo bottle fixing broken. But was warm, spacious and otherwise clean, modern and neat.
