"Recently upgraded large roomy suite, quite, good breakfast"

"I was this time,in a "3××" bedroom. The charging point would not accept my charging cable. Other hotels have exchanged their bedside lamps for ones with charging points. The room felt "tired,". Reception staff were as alert and gsve me the ' standard corporate welcome'. The bar was fairly quiet but it still took 10 mins for my drink to arrive. Breakfast was " hello nice to see you,you know the routine"."

"Arrived at this hotel hoping for a good night’s sleep after a long drive on a very hot day. It became apparent quickly though that the A/C in the room was not working effectively and with no window to open, the whole room was baking hot and impossible to cool down. In general the room was well kept and had all the amenities you would want, although one of the towels was stained. Due to arriving later in the evening, and knowing the hotel was fully booked because of the Uni Open Day we didn’t...

"This pub was a great find, lovely staff, great breakfast, parking easy and free. The history was amazing. The Gaskell tower is a must. We stayed in a heatwave , the room was warmer than expected, and we should have asked for a fan. The only slight problem, not the pubs fault, it is on the direct flight path for Manchester airport, they did stop flying between the hours of 11.30pm-6.00 am!!"

"Stayed for one night, with my son, for a Mazda MX5 car meet up in the car park- the reason for our stay. The hotel is very nice. We had a meal in the Savvy Fox - i like the decor. The meal was very nice - but not cheap. The twin room was very basic, but was clean and adequate for a one night stay. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. "Room was very clean and comfortable, thanks for putting in the fan. receptionist was very welcoming and efficient and a lot of fun, so the stay started well. Did not use the facilities so cant comment. Overall very happy and would recommend."
