"Staff were so friendly and helpful - we arrived after midnight after flight delays, with 3 small children, and the staff gave them warm biscuits, rushed to find crayons and colouring for them and were generally so friendly, it made it such a relief to arrive at the Doubletree after our journey."

"Check in and restaurant staff were lovely. The restaurant food was excellent. But…
The hotel room was not the cleanest, including dirty cups, and cold on arrival. The room was dark as lighting was poor. The car park is a joke for anyone with a suitcase. Narrow bays, uneven paving stones and cobble type parking area with hollowed out stone tiles. The cost of parking was nearly £30 for 12 hours. Wouldn’t stay there again."

"Immaculate! A hidden gem. My room was beautifully appointed, the furnishings were so tasteful, the bed extremely comfortable with a variety of pillows. Super clean. The staff were not in your face but ready to help if required.
The shared kitchen/laundry was such a good idea ..... why dont more accommodation places do this????? I stayed for six nights and will definately be back."

"Loved the Whitworth Locke Hotel. Location was great - 10 minute walk from the train station and close to many restaurants and easy walk to different museums. Super convenient to have a washer/dryer in the room, and a kitchen. My only critical feedback, which I am pretty sure I read from others, is the room was really dark. Overall I would stay here again, however, that would be the only thing that would give me pause."
