"We had a fantastic stay at Residence Terra Rossa. The views were breathtaking. Our room and the grounds were spotless clean. "Everything was great - staff were super friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful and centrally located. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. "We ordered a room with the Seaview and got an amazing balcony with incredible views 180°. Service was good staff was friendly. Yes you had to climb up a steep ramp to get from the hotel to the main street, and if you had a handicap, you would not be able to do that. But we were prepared for that based on other reviews. "La Plage has magnificent views of the sea and the iconic Isola Bella. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. Be aware that the beach is rocky and hard to walk on and it’s difficult to enter and exit the sea for a swim. It’s easy to get up to Taormina via the funivia (cable car) for a 10€ round trip. "

"Great central location – we could easily walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. The cable cars are close by if you don’t want to take the stairs down to the beach. We stayed in a two-room apartment with a fantastic balcony. Excellent service at both the reception and breakfast. Just be careful on one short stretch where the sidewalk is narrow, but that’s typical in older cities. Highly recommended!"
