"Room was very clean — smelled like disinfectant as soon as we walked in which I was thankful for. Lobby was nice, staff was kind. Very close to the beach and in a less crowded area. My only disappointment was the coffee bar— labeled by the hotels website as “deluxe” — which had one hospital style coffee machine and powdered creamer. They did have a decent size fridge and Keurig in the room so next time I will definitely be packing my own coffee."

"The room was nice and clean. The sofa pulled out into a decent bed - just be aware it's not that long. The pool and deck were great options, and the location is great. I was able to easily find parking in the garage. We also used the hotel chairs and towels for the beach, which is very convenient."

"WOW tis Motel far exceeded my expectations. You think “motel” and its crappy but no way. I recently stayed at another in Dewey and it was HORRIFIC nothing like the photos. Oceanus was CLEAN and I mean from entry to baseboard. You could smell the cleanliness (not cleanser) but clean. The staff was friendly the place was bright and vibrant the chairs outside was clean the tables by the pool were clean I was in AWE i am Definitely staying again"

"My family and I stayed three nights, the checking in was a bit confusing as you need to call a number, then finish your check in, in the small room at the front of the property over the phone. The beds were comfortable but the window has no view unless you want to show everyone what you’re doing. The room was somewhat clean, in a few places there was dust collected. I wish at least they would put a chair to seat on, only beds to seat on. Also a few extra hooks to hang towels or bags would have been great. The AC is very loud. It is close to restaurants and shops. It was on our budget this year but maybe we’ll splurge a bit next time and stay somewhere else closer to the beach."

"Absolutely amazing place- staff, food, amenities. Everything was wonderful. Breakfast was DELICIOUS every day, and every single person who works there is a delight. Location is perfect (highly recommend buying a parking pass from the kiosk across the street by the roundabout and driving up to Stockley or New Castle for the beach!) and extremely affordable given location and amenities. Can’t recommend enough!!!!!"
