"Modern hotel well kept. Disappointing staff service as a football match was on. Hotel bar tried to close early, expensive for a basic service level. But would probably stay again as amenities where good. Not cheap for what it is."

"Nice clean hotel. Excellent location. Room was a bit small. Breakfast is not the best. Lacking staff to clear tables. Only has one coffee machine which didn’t work half the time. Limited choice. Staff were friendly enough. Despite breakfast I would certainly return. "

"Staff were friendly, stand at bar to wait to check in, bed was comfortable but it’s dated and not the cleanest.. certainly charging more than the facilities warrant. "

"Premier room was tatty… curtains had hole in them, some off hooks, bed throw had mark on it. Despite asking for the room to be serviced and leaving the sign on the door - it wasn’t - I was told they missed it because I was at the end of the corridor!"

"There was no heating on during my stay; the room was cold. The TV on the wall had no nearby socket to plug it into. The lamp on the table had no socket to plug it into. Two of the pictures on the wall were shocking. The curtains were back to front: the right side faced out, and the lining faced the room. Moreover, they were really thin with lots of human hair between the lining and the curtain. "
