"The AC in the conservatory where we held the wedding ceremony and meal was wholly inadequate. It was 27c outside and at least that inside. The main problem was underspecified AC units ( there were only 2 - probably needed 6). There was no roof blinds to shade us from the afternoon sun, so the venue got hotter and hotter. As a result the experience was very uncomfortable - inexcusable really as the Hotel Management must have always know this was a problem in the hot summers from previous years....

"The Hotel's location is very good. However, it is busy and can be loud at times. The check-in was a bit hard, as there is not really a front desk, as customers are required to self check in. Was unable to check in early as requested, however, staff locked up our bags. Upon returning twas unable to self checkin in. There is a buzzer, which "may" get staff to come to desk. However, I rang it and end up waiting, for awhile before staff attended. I explained, I was unable to self check in. ...

"The location is absolutely beautiful and incredibly picturesque. Our room was amazing, very spacious, spotless, and featuring a fantastic double shower which was a real highlight. The bar staff in particular were exceptional throughout our stay, friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which really added to the overall experience. "You get much more than a hotel room for the price. There was a proper kitchen containing fridge, microwave, oven and hob. There was a bath as well as shower. The only downside was no air conditioning and I went in a week that was 29.5 degrees over night. I had a problem with the shower which they fixed. I would definitely stay again."

"Last minute booking made at 8pm by 11.30pm was at the property and no lockbox enaul had been forwarded so could not get into the property. Had to find alternative accomodation as could not waitcany longer for the info as no indication my issue was being addressed. Finally received the lockbox email at 12 30am 4.5hrs after the booking. Would not advise last minute/evening bookings for this venue."
