The staff were very helpful and the room was spacious with comfortable beds. The heating system in the lobby/sitting room area was pretty noisy. Needs some attention. The dining area was pleasant with a reasonable breakfast. A bit of sourdough bread wouldn't have gone amiss. I loved the garden with its beautiful trees and can see it would be a good wedding venue.

Our stay here was excellent. The food (breakfast and dinner) was absolutely delicious and tasty, cooked to perfection. The staff were super helpful and absolutely courteous. It was a nice, quiet and calm atmosphere , clean rooms and well maintained grounds to explore. I will absolutely visit there again and will recommend.

All rather dated. Communal area was small and cold for our party of 10 to meet up. No bar area to sit in. Breakfast was all rather automated and not all working as it should (unrecognizeable juice dispensed from a machine, that kept clogging up, milk from a machine that was empty etc) The tiniest croissants I've ever seen along with sliced bread were the 'breakfast bakery selection' Hot food was good. Staff around reception need to be a little friendlier!

The staff were amazing!! But unfortunately the bed & the bathroom had hairs all over, the bed itself had seen better days, the carpet was worn & stretched, the aircon blew air but didn’t cool the room at all I would go here again but would try booking a better or different room

Could only get BBC1 on the TV, all other channels were pixilated. There as no mirror by the dressing table. It was quite had to reach the taps to fill the bath as the shower screen wouldn’t move.

We stayed the night what looked like a weeding event, where it looked as though the carpets and stairs hadn’t been cleaned. Hangers left in our bathroom from previous guest, restaurant staff seemed inexperienced.

The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. If it hadn't been for noisy and inconsiderate other guests, we would have had a good night's sleep. My only criticism about the room itself
