Loved the milk for my tea/coffee in the room, and the welcome cookies. Bed comfy and good towels. Would’ve appreciated a magnifying mirror for makeup, and an in room fridge. "The hotel was well located in the middle of town. There was no air conditioning, but the temperatures cooled off at night and a fan was provided. But the staff was the most wonderful part of our stay. They were pleasant, helpful, and just overall wonderful!"

"Me and my partner stayed at the Bathurst Arms for his birthday weekend away and had such a lovely time. The location was fantastic, everywhere we wanted to visit in the Cotswolds was within around 30 minutes, which made it the perfect base for exploring. The food was really nice, the room was clean and quiet, and we especially loved the comfy bed, nice bathroom and great shower. The hosts were also lovely and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We would definitely stay again and...

"A lot of character and history. Our room was very nostalgic and quite spacious. You don’t get a fridge or AC in these older inns. There’s good beer, decent food and included breakfast. There’s a very small team of younger staff who are quite responsive and who are trying very hard to keep up in a busy environment. I think they deserve some more support to be honest. "First, you can't check in till 5pm. Second, the shower is small and slippery when wet. When I mentioned that I'd nearly fallen twice and it needed a non-slip mat, I was told can't be done as this would be an admission that there is a problem. Plus, the light in the bathroom is on a motion sensor timer and kept cutting out leaving me in the shower, in the dark. It sounds comical but with the slippery shower base and total darkness, it wasn't funny. I had to open the shower door and wave my arm to...
