"Fantastic views from this hotel, we had room 24, which was absolutely stunning. You do have to book your shuttles kind of an advance because depending on how many people are at the hotel you have to get back-and-forth to town so it’s a good idea to try and plan your day out. The staff are very helpful overall a very good place. They are doing some renovations so if you’re planning on sleeping in late, you might hear something. "Hotel Excelsior Splendide was amazing! The location was absolutely perfect, with everything in Bellagio just a short walk away. Our room had a beautiful view of Lake Como, and we loved relaxing by the pool after exploring. The hotel was beautiful, the room was great, and the included breakfast was an added bonus. We couldn't recommend it more!"

"Booked this as it was close to the airport and had a shuttle service. The reality is the shuttle service is unreliable and in frequent. In the end, I had to catch a taxi to the hotel from the airport which is actually very difficult because it’s such a short journey. The next day, I actually walked from the airport to the hotel. "When we first checked in they told is there was no parking available (they have only a couple of spots on the property). We started walking to our room, we went through a lovely hallway and then ended in a sad part of the hotel where the drop ceiling got really sad. Despite the hotel not being packed they put us in a gross room at the back of the hotel above the kitchen that smelled like food and had no AC. We went back and asked for AC. He low key shamed us saying that no one has ever asked for...

"This hotel was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed through our whole entire Italy trip. The hotel staff is extremely helpful at any given time, the breakfast was incredible and the best we’ve had in our trip and our room the villa overseeing the lake como with private access to the water was incredible. We will definitely be coming back and staying with at this hotel again. Also, if you have a car they have private parking which comes in handy, but also a bus station is nearly 3 minutes walking...

"The hotel was conveniently located at a ten minute walk from the Bergamo airport. The room was clean and comfortable. The airport shuttle at 4am in the morning was super convenient."
