For that reason, I booked another hotel in a safer part of town that was also convenient to UAB and exceeded my expectations for the price."

"The gentlemen out front attending to cars were very helpful. The attendant checking people in was not as welcoming. His demeanor didn’t ruin my overall experience. It was just off putting right when I walked in the door."

"One of the best experiences that I’ve had with a hotel, they let us check in early after I had surgery. It was extremely modern clean and professional people were so gracious and nice even at the breakfast morning before we left. If I can give them 20 stars I would your front office Staff the gentleman working the breakfast the cleanliness everything was top-notch thank you so much and if I go to Birmingham, you’re my first choice. ! What a wonderful crew you have."

"Breakfast is very good, with many choices, although they only offer one type of breakfast meet each day. But it’s worth it!! Ms. Lyndia was a very kind staff member who made sure rooms were clean and fresh towels and toilet paper were available."

"Staff were amazing! However, the elevators were not working our entire stay. Also, there was no trash can in the bathroom along with a burnt out light bulb and leaky toilet. Housekeeping did not show up so we were out of coffee pods and bottled water. With all that said I would give them another try solely on how friendly the hotel staff was!"

"First I want to say that the staff was wonderful. The lady at the front desk, the gentlemen that works valet, and the restaurant staff are all top notch. The hotel is old, the elevator sounds like it's going to break, and the automatic doors don't work at the front of the hotel. The room was large and spacious, but there was a basket of trash from the former guest in our room, the refrigerator doesn't work, and there was trash under our bed- the rooms aren't thoroughly cleaned between guests....

"Do not love housekeeping, knocking on the door at 9 AM for an 11 o’clock check out."
