"Amazing view of the ocean and beach from the room. Staff was very healthful even when the AC unit had to be replaced, which was somewhat of an inconvenience. However, the atmosphere, beach views and access, the amazing food, and the helpful staff made up for any issues. I wish that they had a system to charge amenities and food to the room to pay all at the end of the stay, but overall loved my stay."

"Front office staff was amazing! However, upon check in they tried to give me a room with a garden view instead of sea view room I had paid for. Had to ask for it to be sorted. Room was dusty, with cobwebs. On the last day there was no running water. Do not disturb sign on my front door was disregarded had maintenance knocked on my door at 6am. Awful experience!"

"There are no elevators so you walk up the stairs with your luggage. There is no shower head, only a handheld shower with the thinnest of water to shower with. Breakfast was…. very regular at 1-star level. It’s not worth the cost! "

"As expected given the price this is far from an upmarket area. The rooms were small but clean. Initially I was given a not very nice room with an ensuite that was more like an alcove with no shower but was fortunately moved to a better one. We had to navigate building works to get into the property and then walk on a raised wooden walkway. The place was clean and the staff pleasant and helpful"

"This was the worse experience I have ever had! We checked in on Saturday. Shortly after a few hours, where I discovered there was no hot water and one of the ACs were broken, we lost complete power. After 2 hours of the host asking us to wait in the dark, I decided to leave and check into another hotel. The whole time I was in the dark, the host kept reassuring me, the power would come back on. "Booked and paid through expedia, made 9 calls to the host without a response while waiting outside the apartments..An hour later, the host called me to say the apartment was double booked...Taken me a few days for my money to be returned. Expedia should ban such hosts that are fraudulent ...This is typical behaviour of hosts in Mombasa who are ruining the tourism industry in the area.."

"This is the worst place you will ever visit. Terrible, old, dirty, nothing works and won’t refund. Their whole collection have terrible reviews. Theyhad issues from cold to hot water, flooding and non working amenities. We had to leave the next day as we couldn’t stay one more day. They still charged us alot of money for a physical key that we lost while looking for another hotel then refused to refund close to $700. The manager refuses to respond to Expedia emails for refund. They honestly...

"First it is not a hotel but studios. The amenenities are very old, the wall paper was peeling and the neighbourhood feels very insecure for a woman travelling alone. It is 1 km from the beach. There was a lot of noise in the corridors from the other occupants very early in the morning. Overall not the best option for solo travellers"
