We had a great one night stay! The room was comfortable with well-working AC. The granite bathroom and shower were amazing, best shower of my life after 26+ hours of travel! The check-in process was a bit confusing with the codes and the doors as we were told door 1 but it was actually door 4, just a miscommunication so no biggie. Once we got in we were very happy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and also would recommend the restaurant A Casa Mia just down the street for coffee in the morning!

This was the perfect stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and modern. We loved that we could use the hook ups to charge our phones, We also found the filtered and sparkling water from the tap very refreshing. We booked at cruise and the buses to the port were just down the street within walking distance. We would definitely recommend this spot and we may be booking again in the future.

We did not bring pets so no idea about that, but the place was very nice clean and comfortable. They could have put out a few biscuits or treats at night. Besides all that I was very happy.

Only issue was the stairs. I was told my room was on the second floor but apparently, that didn’t include the ground floor when counting floors so it was really the third floor and had to carry luggage up two flights of stairs. Not fun after traveling for 24 hrs. I will say the self check in directions were very easy to follow.

This place should be more clear that it is a rental by an owner. This is not the place to go if you will be arriving after dark. If you have never been here before, it was very scary. When we arrived it was a random door with a couple of call buttons on it. We pushed the button for this place and the door opened to complete darkness. We had no idea where we were going, because I was not able to get information from the owner. We were able to get help from a store owner that was next to the door, that was able to call the owner of the place. We were finally able to find out where and what we needed to do. My husband had to turn his flashlight on his phone so we could see where we were going. We had to haul our luggage up 3 flights of stairs in the dark. Once we were able to finally get into our room, it was nice, but I would never stay here again. It was a very scary experience for our first time in Rome.

This was an unusual property/experience. The main door is located on a busy street in a sketchy area. The apartment is on the 3rd floor (2nd floor for Europeans). As there is no on-site staff, pre-check-in is handled through email, including passport submittal, etc. We arrived on Saturday morning in time to return a rental car before they closed at noon. Since check-in was not available until 3pm, this left us with nowhere to be and a bunch of luggage. Communication through the booking app was ineffective, but once I used the property’s direct email, they were very helpful and responsive. Fortunately, we were allowed to leave our luggage, even though our rooms weren’t ready yet. There was a secure main door to an apartment common area, and additional secured doors to the individual rooms. Everything was very clean and seemed well-maintained. The room was very quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. We had very good experience with A Casa Mia, a restaurant right next door. Our efforts at wandering around the area for other dining/shopping options were futile and frustrating. The apartment was very close to the access point for cruise ships, which is why we were in Civitavecchia in the first place. We would recommend the property as a no-frills, super convenient pre-cruise stopover.

From the moment we arrive to the time we left Ugo and Josefina were extremely kind and helpful. There is no elevator so they carried our luggage up and down stairs for us even though we tried to take it ourselves. They had a very nice breakfast that was hand cooked and served by Ugo. It’s an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and the cruise port although Ugo did drive us the two blocks to the cruise port. I recommend the airport pick up because the B&B might be very difficult to find on your own. We are staying here again for two nights after our cruise and we are looking forward to it.

The bedroom itself was pretty clean. There was a pile of dirt at the foot of the bed that has not been picked up. The bed was comfortable, however, there was a large amount of black mold in the shower, and only in the shower. That did not make us feel great, but it was a quick shower in the morning. The location was perfect for a one-night stay. Within walking distance to many restaurants. When we booked the room, we were told breakfast was included. Then we received an email that breakfast would not be included but they would give us a credit slip at a local shop for breakfast. When we arrived, they said no breakfast and no discount in our rate. We received check-in instructions via email and no person was available at check-in. The manager did knock on our door around 10:30 pm to make sure we were checked in. It was also a short walk to the area where you catch the bus to the cruise ships. In spite of the shower situation, it was perfect, and we would stay there again if leaving from that port.

Upon entering, the garbage can sitting in the entry smelled foul. There was no elevator, so that meant hauling four suitcases up two flights of stairs. The common area and room were very clean and modern, and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was especially nice. However, in the night, there was a strange methane-like smell in the bathroom. The bedspread had an obvious stain on it. The location was super convenient to the port and its shuttle bus system. Lots of restaurants were within an easy walk, but even while dining, peddlers would accost you with trinkets that were “free” and then ask for payment. The Ferris wheel was within an easy walk and worth the six euros for the view of the coastline.

The room was excellent the bed very comfortable the whole room is very nice and clean, very modern. the only problem is the entrance at first it looks like an abandoned place and there's no elevator so you have to walk up 2 high flies of stairs if you have heavy luggage it can be strenuous. Over all it was very good.
