"Small, quiet hotel with a fantastic location in the Arts District. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.
Bed was comfortable and the shower is great.
I did wish that the hotel had a gym.
One thing to keep in mind is First Friday, which is a loud street festival that takes place on the first Friday of every month. If your room faces Main you will hear it. We managed to fall asleep by 11, though.
I would stay at this hotel again without question. "

"The hotel was wonderful. Our room was facing Fremont street which we were not aware the music would be heard all night. So if you are a light sleeper request the other side.
Room was clean, staff was so friendly. Great food to choose from. Highly recommend Barry's steakhouse.
We are from Canada and was excited about the Par incentive being advertised, but when we were explained the rules you could only play certain slot machines. So we did not get to enjoy the Par incentive.

"If you are looking for Las Vegas nostalgia in a clean place without breaking the bank, then Golden Gate is the place to stay. My wife and I have stayed here a number of times and have never had a bad experience. It can be loud so either join the party or bring some earplugs or a white noise machine if you go to bed before the bands wrap up at 2 AM. But why would you go to bed before that while you're in Vegas anyway?"
