"We came on a weekend (move in day at the university) that I assumed would have the hotel packed out but instead we were basically by ourselves. The staff was cordial, chatty and helpful but didn't hover. Our room was cool and clean when we entered and just fine for the two of us. Breakfast was pretty typical but for me that's a treat because I don't eat waffles very often at home."

"I booked a king/non-smoking, upon check in I was told I did not book that room but rather a double/smoking room. She was adamant that I did not book the room that I had and that there were no King/nonsmoking rooms left and asked if I want to cancel the entire reservation!!! I pulled up my reservation on my phone which showed the king/nonsmoking and amazingly they had one available. She was very rude and, had I not had proof of my reservation she was going to put me in something I did not pay for, or worse, cancel the entire reservation. "
