"This property was newly renovated but partly still under renovation. I had booked the Casco Bay Inn and when I arrived, it had turned into Spark. They did not have my reservation but kindly honored it at the rate I had already paid via Expedia. The staff was more than helpful."

"Very clean room that was recently remodeled. Helpful staff. Hotel recently changed hands and was taken over by Hilton, so it was a bit confusing finding it as new Hilton signage replaced the name of the property that we initially booked under."

"The Orchard Inn is very quaint and charming. The grounds were very quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the great coffee and healthy continental breakfast that was provided. Would definitely recommend the Orchard Inn."

"The location is ideal for checking out local shops and businesses in the area. For those that are staying there it would be beneficial to not have a room on the back of the building as the railroad runs directly behind it. Additionally, my friend and I were woken up several times by the next door people. The sound proofing of the walls is not ideal. While it was likely a result of the ability to make the rooms joined I would prefer not to be woken up by their alarm at 4am, their baby,...

"Pros: ease of ferry, views, staff (mostly) apps on porch, breakfast eggs were delicious, veteran taxi was awesome, locals, golf which has nothing to do with hotel they told us many times…. so mostly island pros Cons: cocktail sauce ewww, bikes… a total joke and dangerous, the cheesecake not good, the fact that a pack of men partied all night and we got 0 sleep on a random Thursday night?! The biggest con was when we answered staff when they asked they didn’t really care, definitely felt like...

"We really enjoyed our time at the Inn. The staff is very friendly, warm and welcoming. The inn is very old and has all the character that comes with being an advance age. It had everything we needed and was walkable to downtown Portland. My husband and I walked into the downtown each day, it’s about a 40 min ease walk."
