"We were literally locked out of our room because the system was down. We missed our reservations for dinner and spent almost 2 hours along with other guests in the Lobby while someone tried to troubleshoot. It was awful. "

"Great old world style property with good food. We have stayed there several times with very favorable results. The room however on this trip was too small to comfortably hold two adults. Very little room between the beds and the walls and not much room to get dressed or store luggage. Just make sure you request a larger room."

"This is probably the best hotel in Freeport since it’s right in town and has a big parking lot. Parking is free but you must get a tag from the front desk. Another helpful amenity is bar which stays open til 11pm. Overall the room was basic but offered everything you need. I wish breakfast was included however they charge $20 for a breakfast buffet that most other chain hotels offer for free."

"The floors were dirty in the bathroom. Bed sheets had what appeared to be stains! Not sure the bedding/ linen was clean. Smelled like mold and so did I and my clothing! People smoking at entrance from the back resturant made me nauseated.and it followed you into the building. Very run down and old!"

"We’ve stayed at this hotel 5 times now and have always enjoyed the historic charm and location. Check-in during this stay went smoothly, however we were disappointed when we arrived to find the toilet in our room was dirty. We also asked the front desk if the TVs allowed streaming services like Netflix or Prime Video, and the girl at the front responded rather rudely that “we are a historic hotel, so we do not offer smart TVs.” We completely understand preserving the character of a historic...

"Clean room, nice location. Wish the tv was a smart tv, and found the $25/room sort of annoying since the restaurant on property was understaffed. But overall we enjoyed it."

"The inn is an older nostalgic hotel that has unique charm and challenge. It is a surviving relic from a different era, so don’t expect elevators or high tech. The stairs are a challenge for some, as are the low sinks and toilets. It’s a cost effective overnight stay, but that is the best part. Aged charm has its appeal, but if you need comfort and convenience, probably not for you. The breakfast is convenient… just hit or miss on some days. Parking is tough for a large SUV, so be aware."
