Bilmar Beach Resort

"Walk out to beach was lovely. There was a bunch of dead bugs in room upon checking in but I guess that’s to be expected with the beach right there and the sliding glass doors. Beach was awesome, spacious, nice firm sand. They give you chairs but not umbrellas, which would have been nice. Area was fine, Publix and Walgreens across street but did not find a good coffee shop within walking distance. The ice cream from across the street called sweet spot was excellent though."

"We recently stayed at Ocean Club in St. Petersburg, Florida, and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and located in a perfect area that provided easy access to the beach, local restaurants, shopping, and nearby attractions. The accommodations were comfortable, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property, which made it feel welcoming and well cared for. The atmosphere was peaceful and family-friendly, making it easy to unwind and enjoy our vacation. The staff was professional, friendly, and responsive whenever we had questions. Their commitment to customer service truly enhanced our overall experience. One of the highlights was being able to enjoy beautiful sunsets and the laid-back coastal atmosphere that makes the St. Petersburg area such a wonderful destination. Ocean Club provided the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and relaxation. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Ocean Club to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable place to stay while visiting the St. Petersburg/Treasure Island area."

"The only negative I have is that they are pet friendly, but they don’t really have any real activities or much of an area that pets are allowed. Considering the pet fee with taxes come to around 85 dollars a night, I would have expected a larger pet area and some pet friendly activities."

"First off, the front desk is AMAZING! Literally AMAZING! We had a 2 day stay in the largest townhouse room. Housekeeping never came once. We ran out of toilet paper and towels. No beds were ever made. Garbage was never changed. No fresh towels given. The room needed a serious cleaning. Cupboard doors are falling off the hinges. The toilets needed a wipe down. So did the vanity and sinks. It’s mostly just old and not maintained really. We had a family of 4. They give you 2 pool passes for all for our entire stay. They have another pool that’s for adults only though. You have to purchase $22 wristbands if you want the entire family to be together in the waterpark/pool every day you’re there. The Gulf is close by. You can’t swim for free there. Parking is free and very easy. It’s supposed to be a full kitchen. You can’t make a meal out of the kitchen if you tried. There’s nothing very little cooking supplies. 1 pan. 4 plates. 4 forks, 2 butter knives and a ton of sharp knives & 3 drinking glasses. Bring all of your own paper plates & tableware. Great location and everything is so close by. Good restaurants within walking distance. We paid $315 a night PLUS $42 per night (not per stay) totaling $357 per night for a run down room with broken cupboards that we STILL need to pay to use their waterpark. Not doing this again. Sorry."

"10/10 a great hotel. Will be staying here again. We booked this as a last minute celebration as we just got engaged, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Everything was relaxing, clean, and just over All wonderful. They have everything you need right there in the hotel. Do not over look this spot if you’re thinking about booking"
