Dream come true!

The owners of the house met us upon arrival! Completely shocked as this was our first experience with a bed and breakfast! We were pampered and made sure we were comfortable our whole stay! Exceptional service and experience! We will definitely book here again!

The home was decorated so beautifully and the breakfast was amazing. The owners were very attentive and hospitable. We booked our next stay for 2020 while eating breakfast and sipping the Fresh French Press coffee they made for us. One of the best weekend getaways we had

The service was on point. We were greeted first thing, our room was clean and decorated beautifully. The common areas are perfect for a late night glass of wine and the breakfast was sooo good! Way more than you would expect. The owners treat you like family and are the secret sauce. We were so happy with our choice to stay here and will be back soon!

A wonderful time.

We are so glad we selected AVA House Bed and Breakfast. The location is perfect if you enjoy State and National parks. Hiking,water activities, beautiful waterfalls and wineries are just a few activities that are available and located within a few miles of the AVA House Bed and Breakfast. The owners Delilah and Mike are great resources when planning your itinerary. They go to great lengths to make you stay memorable and treat you like family.(only better) AVA House is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The grounds are well kept and the setting is very peaceful. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and all amenities are provided. You are provided with a delicious breakfast and refreshments in the evening. We are looking forward to a return trip soon and are recommending AVA House to all of our friends and family.

This B&B far surpassed our expectations in so many ways. The house is beautiful, beyond five star. Our room was divine. The owners, Delilah and Mike, are charming and delightful hosts who made us feel like welcome family. I cannot say enough good things about them and their exceptional level of hospitality.

Lovely AVA House - I'll be back soon!

From the moment my daughter and I turned into  the driveway of this stunning home and welcomed at our car by Michael and Delilah, the owners of AVA House,  I knew we were in for a special treat.  This was an experience not just a  night at a bed and breakfast.  The home is decorated beautifully.  The subtle scents in the home are refreshing and calming.  AVA House is immaculate.  Our stay was all about the extra touches. Michaela and Delilah made us feel so welcome as if we we old friends coming for a visit. After settling into our room, we relaxed by the fire with a plate of cheese and refreshment and visited with the owners.  I mentioned to Delilah that my daughter and I had hiked 14 miles and I was in quite a bit of pain.  She recommended  a hot soak in the tube and provided me with wonderful bath salts  to ease the discomfort.  Her suggestion worked!   Our bed was comfortable, the linens and towels exquisite.  Our breakfast was delicious, and visiting with the other guest was enjoyable  AVA House is a very special home.  I'm already planning my next visit.  Thank you  Michael and Delilah for making our stay so special.  Your home is a refection of both of you.

This house was amazing!! Every room had such character, it was so welcoming and decorated gorgeously. The bed was incredible and breakfast was more than we could have imagined. The hosts were just the best! We will definitely return some day and highly recommend it!!

Best B&B EVER!!

My husband and I wanted to just get away from the daily grind. From the moment we pulled into the driveway we saw a beautiful home. Very well kept landscaping. We were met outside and offered help with our bags. Once we entered the home we were shown around, we were offered drinks, beer and wine. When we were brought upsatairs the room was gorgeous!!! Waiting for us was a cheese tray, in our room. The bed was so soft and comfortable. The towels were amazing!!!! Theres a sitting room at the end of the upstairs hall with snacks, water, tea and coffee, and an ice maker (I am probably forgetting to name something) Breakfast was to die for!!!! The first day we had a yogurt parfait, then quiche, with toast and grilled tomatoes, and then french toast. OMG!!!!! Day 2 started with a yogurt parfait with glazed bananas, chocolate cake and croissants, and lemon riccota pancakes. Honestly after all the food we only needed dinner later in the day. Each day we were offers suggestions as to what we coukd do for the day and given maps on how to get there. Definitely will be going back!!!! We also had awesome conversations with Delilah and her husband ( should have mentioned them earlier but got caught up in the home and food itself)

We are parents of 2 UNG students and had a busy weekend planned for college drop offs. We decided to try AVA House after less than stellar hotel options in Dahlonega during previous stays and a recommendation from another UNG parent we met along the way. To say we were pleased would not even begin to describe our experience. We arrived and were immediately greeted by Mike and Delilah. We were given a tour of the beautiful home and offered wine, beer, and a snack. We had to quickly change and head back out for obligations and really appreciated the meat and cheese tray and drink to wind down. I even took the time to take a bath with a bath bomb that completely changed my day! When we got back from dinner we had chocolate covered strawberries waiting in our room to welcome us. The room was extremely comfortable with each and every need addressed. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable place to stay and sleep! The next morning we had an early start with obligations at the college. Delilah fixed us breakfast to go which was far better than anything we'd get driving through fast food. We didn't expect breakfast due to our early schedule, but again the service was above and beyond. Our children were even invited back to spend time with us at the B&B and Delilah fixed breakfast for one of our daughters on our last day. This was certainly beyond anything that we would have asked for or expected. I can't say enough about our stay here and would certainly recommend it!

Lovely bed & breakfast handy to several vineyards

Delilah and Mike really know how to make you feel at home in their beautiful bed and breakfast. The food and service were great. And Delilah helped us make the most out of our experience in the local wine country. The linens and decor were first class. Every little detail was thought out from snacks & water in the room to chocolate covered strawberries & bellinis upon check in. Can't recommend this place enough!
