"Ideally situated for town centre, upon arrival got shown all facilities/room, lovely breakfast staff very polite/helpful, room had everything you needed and quiet Cameron went above and beyond when we arrived explained that we had car issues and that we would sort it next day ( he said let him know if anything could do), after contacting RAC next day we had to wait approx 5.5hrs, Cameron told us we could wait in lounge/garden where he kept checking upon us and checking if he could do anything...

"Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. "

"Esme was very welcoming, informative and helpful. The communal kitchen on the ground floor was a great addition with a fridge to store snacks / drinks and cooking facilities if you want to be self-sufficient. The room was bright, big and clean with a great shower and a comfy bed. The large fan provided helped us stay cool.
The only drawback to our room at the side of the guesthouse was that the nearby main road is very busy and noisy throughout most of the night it seems - but earplugs were...

It's a beautiful hotel with plenty of facilities and is ideal if your traveling by train as it is right next door to York Railway Station with direct access.
