"The room smelled of smoke. There was mold in the bathroom and a dirty towel lying on the floor. The property was a mess - dark and grown up in weeds. There was a hole in the wall and the cabinets were taped shut. The bathroom cieling was caving in and had water damage."

"Rooms were GREAT, the staff was GREAT, breakfast was GREAT. Pool was under renovation so can not speak to that. ONLY negative thing I have to say is the TV guide - impossible to use, they offer lots of channels but good luck on actually finding something to watch via the guide - ended up endlessly scrolling channel by channel to see what was on."

"Furnishings somewhat outdated, but this is totally acceptable with the focus on cleanliness and the hardworking, friendly staff! Would definitely stay there again and reccomend to others."

"The pros: Walking distance to many restaurants and friendly staff. The cons: The maintenance and cleanliness of this hotel is terrible. Hallways are full of chipped and peeling wallpaper, the shower and sink had pink rings of soap scum and mildew, there were stains on the walls and carpets, and handprints from previous guests on the windows."

"Upon check in, I was given a room with a malfunctioning AC, I spoke with the gentleman at the desk and recieved a new room without issue after his attempt to fix the unit didn't work and resetting the unit a few more times myself didn't get it to stay on. Overall, It's what you'd expect of a Days Inn near Akron. Good enough for a night or two, property in relatively good shape but definitely still has the same characters and abandoned vehicles you'd find at any other urban days inn. Overall...

"Our stay was great because it was clean and staff was friendly and professional. The area seemed to be suburbanize (landscape was rural with some areas pristine and serene!) The pool was clean and temperature was perfect! The only fault I saw was the water line on the bathroom door. My husband thought they may have had a flood in the past, but it didn't interfere with the cleanliness of our room/bathroom. Yes, we will stay here when we return to visit the family!"

"I did feel like safety was a big concern here and they did well with that. However I feel like they don’t trust the guests and maybe there’s reasons why. But I had to ask for ice and the desk guy had to get it. It was like a clump of chizzled ice that really did no good for me. There was absolutely nothing at the breakfast I could eat. On. Good note, the room was clean."

"They originally placed me in a room that had not yet been cleaned by housekeeping, and when they moved me to the last room in the hallway, it was directly by an elevator in an exit door, and it was incredibly noisy. The staff at the check-in encounter didn’t even acknowledge that I was there and had me waiting, even though there were three of them behind the counter and only one was helping a guest."

"Internet wouldn’t work in room or lobby, elevator not working, stair wells dirty, has ants, paper thin walls. Breakfast just ok. Refillable soaps in bathroom are a breeding ground for bacteria. Room smelled musty. Stains on bedding."
