"Simply the best first night in a foreign country experience we've ever had. Jayne and Le Roux are the perfect people to work in hospitality and the attention to detail was unbelievably outstanding. "Das Hotel liegt in sehr zentraler, aber ruhiger Lage, am Ende einer wenig befahrenen Seitenstraße. Stellenbosch hat uns gefallen und war recht europäisch. Das Personal war sehr nett und hat uns auch direkt mit den Koffern geholfen. Das Frühstück war recht einfach gehalten, aber soweit gut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einfacherer Ausstattung gebucht. Zeitnah sollte insb. das Bad renoviert werden. Es war aber trotzdem noch sauber. Preis Leistung hat soweit gepasst!"

"Hawksmoor House ist ein klassisches, 300 Jahre altes Capholländisches Bauerngehöft. Wir waren zuerst im Herrenhaus untergebracht, dann in einem Nachbargebäude. Beide Zimmer waren ausserordentlich schön. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Zu bemängeln gab es nichts. Allerdings sollten Reisende wissen, dass die Anfahrt über einen unbefestigten Weg erfolgt. Wifi gibt es nur im Herrenhaus. Nach einer Corona-Pause könnte hie und da die Fassade frisch gestrichen werden. Aber dies sind wirklich winzige...
