"The room was clean and decorated beautifully, the bedding and pillows were so cosy and soft and much needed on a cold evening! Staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. Had dinner which was worth every penny and a generous portion, and the same for breakfast. It’s a steep walk up to Port Isaac but not as bad as it looks, if you turn right at the car park at the top of the hill you can walk along a path with great views that leads to a nice ice cream shop. "Loved the fact that there were very few right angles in the building!"

"The room was very clean and very quaint, but also very quiet. Room five has a lovely bathroom the only thing that very slightly let it down was the shower control isn't thermostatic so slight pressure variances from other rooms do cause the odd cold shock moment. Food is good and there's an interesting choice of beers."

"The breakfast was lovely i am gluten free they had gluten free sausage and toast it was a good size and was a great start to the day. The staff were friendly and the room was spotless "

"The staff were welcoming. Room was clean, good amenities. Dog friendly nig bonus, liked the idea of having our own entrance, rather than having to go through hotel. Ideal location. "

"Only complaint would be pillows, for me, flat firm pillows dont work. Staff is the best! They were always Super helpful. Location is good...close to the Barbican, aquarium, and waterfront. Room was very clean, well appointed and had great black-out drapes."
